Casted or extruded plexiglass?
It's essential to understand the differences between cast and extruded plexiglass.
Extruded Plexiglass is produced by mechanical extrusion from granules, leading to faster production and lower cost. It operates at a temperature of about 70-75°C.
Cast Plexiglass is created by pouring liquid polymer, providing higher mechanical strength, better thermal resistance (up to 82°C), and greater resistance to scratches and alcohol-based cleaners. Ideal for engraving and milling.
